As Fashion Bloggers, we get so excited to hear about local fashion events. We always want to know what is new and exciting and we love attending anything that is fashion and beauty related. We heard about Queen’s Trunk and decided that we better pay them a visit. We got to meet the beautiful Karen David who told us more of how Queen’s Trunk came about. We learned that it all began with a big mistake, and a personal event in her life. Her boyfriend moved in with her, and he had no room in the closets for his stuff. From then on, with the help of Karen’s friend Arlene Dickinson, the idea of Queen’s Trunk came about and became a huge success.
Queen’s Trunk is inspired by British Fashion, and we just loved the variety of unique pieces that were available. There were many vintage pieces and stuff that you just can’t find at your local Malls in Canada. We enjoyed browsing through the racks and putting outfits together.
If you want to check them out they are open until July 26th:
Monday to Wednesday 11am – 7pm
Thursday and Friday 11am – 8pm
Saturday 10am – 8pm
Sunday 11am – 6pm
43 Tank House Lane (Distillery District Toronto)
Also, please stay tuned for an Instagram Giveaway of one of our favourite pieces from Queen’s Trunk.
After spending some time browsing through the racks, we decided to enjoy the weather and walk around the Distillery District and enjoy some drinks at our favourite Mexican Restaurant in the city.
